What it does

• Searches the careers of Emerge's Venture Partners and Emerge Insiders – what they have built, run, sold and scaled – and ranks who is best placed to advise on your specific problem.
• Explains every match: each person shown carries a line saying why their record bears on your question.

What it cannot do yet

• Connection search is coming soon! But right now, there is no mutual-connection data in the app, so it cannot tell you who is connected to a named individual, or who could reach a particular company through their network. It can show you whose career overlaps with that world instead.
• It does not know anything that is not in a Venture Partner's professional profile: no availability, no willingness to take a call, no personal details.

Getting better answers

• Lead with the problem, not the job title. "We want to convert free users to paid" beats "find me a CRO". Add as much detail as possible around what you need.
• Name the hard constraint. Sector, buyer, geography, company type. "Selling into US school districts" is a far better query than "enterprise sales".
• One need per search. Two unrelated asks in one query dilute both.
